The New Balance 1906A Tech Explosion gives the 1906A an exaggerated technical makeover with overlapping, deconstructed overlays in a variety of metallic and matte hues.
As New Balance digs into its retro catalog, the 1906A Tech Explosion joins the ranks of reimagined technical running shoes with early 2000s roots. It features a classic, white mesh base with exaggerated synthetic and genuine leather overlays in Silver Metallic, Gold Metallic, and Castlerock. Each overlay stands out against the base, highlighting the individual design details. Nylon ribbons in Castlerock thread through the New Balance "N" and hang over the midsole, giving the sneaker an unfinished look.
Our StockX experts like the yellow-orange stains on the white midsole. They elevate the sneaker beyond models with an entirely off-white midsole, and pay homage to the shoe’s retro design elements. The New Balance 1906A Tech Explosion was released on July 24, 2024, and sold for $170.
