The Nike Dunk Low University Gold combines tradition and innovation in this iteration of the iconic silhouette designed by Peter Moore and launched in 1985.
The University Gold Coconut Milk colorway of the Nike Dunk Low-Top features traditional color blocking on the upper. The signature overlays from the heel to the toecap and the side-panel Nike Swoosh are crafted from tumbled leather in a rich University Gold. This eye-catching hue is echoed in the laces, tongue lining, and sock liner. The embroidered Nike branding on the heel tab matches the foam midsole that provides both cushioning and support. This stylish and comfortable sneaker rests atop a light brown gum rubber outsole that offers shock absorption and grip with every step.
The aspect of this sneaker that we most enjoy is the upper base, which is made of a Coconut Milk-colored hemp textile instead of the more traditional leather. This twist makes this Dunk Low stand out. The Nike Dunk Low University Gold was released on June 8, 2024, for $125 retail.
