Air Jordan 1 Low 'Court Purple'

This Jordan 1 Low comes in a trio of complementary tones that come together to create an effortlessly stylish sneaker. Two of these appear on the shoe’s multi-purpose sole unit, which comprises a Court Purple outsole and a white midsole. While the former provides an excellent foundation via the various grip formations covering its surface, the latter makes each step soft and bouncy thanks to its blend of foam and Air cushioning.

These tones both return on the upper, with white acting as the base layer. This bright hue coats the midfoot panels, which taper into a narrow strip of leather around the heel, and the toe box, whose lines of ventilation holes help to aerate the foot. This is the last appearance that white makes as everything else is decorated either in Court Purple or black. Most of the overlays don the former hue, its rich tones moving through the forefoot mudguard and overlays, the eyestay and the heel counter. Another band of material in this colour forms the outer part of the low-cut collar, before black makes its entrance on the swooshes, which arc away from a small rectangle of black leather in the centre of the heel to settle distinctively over the white midfoot panels on each flank.

Elsewhere, black laces rest atop the padded black tongue, which has a Court Purple Jumpman sewn into it. Inside the sneaker, an even bolder use of colour can be found. Here, beside the black inner lining, is a vivid red insole with a large Jumpman silhouette printed in black upon it. One final set of branding powerfully adorns the heel counter in the form of a pair of Air Jordan Wings in classy black embroidery – a slick finishing touch.
